OK… the star is Brigitte Bardot… but the two photographers… have four Rolleiflexes between them… and a Leica M3 in the mix somewhere!

Slightly off topic… in the early ‘80s I was called out to many football club pre-season press days to take individual head shots of every player as well as team photos for TV companies to use as stills on sports programs. Perhaps 50 photographers turned up at London clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal, all basically armed with Nikons… except one photographer from the Press Association with a Rolleiflex who just took two or three shots of the whole team grouped together. He reckoned on covering three or four clubs on a single roll of 120 film… the results being good enough to pull individual head-shots from the assembled groups. He reckoned on saving a lot of film, processing, paper and time by using a medium-format Rollei.
